In a tough rivalry match, the visiting Lady Sundevils (5-10, 0-1 in District 2-4A) surrendered five kills, including 13 to Maya Graves, 12 to Erin Pompeo and 11 to Raina Passalacqua. Española also gave up nine aces and had nine kill attempts blocked.

In the opener of District 5-2A play, the host Lady Bobcats (10-3, 1-0) methodically beat the Lady Trojans (6-6, 0-1) 25-21, 25-18, 25-19.

In a bitterly fought match, the host Lady Lobos (3-10, 0-1 in District 5-2A) could not hold the Lady Wildcats’ rally in losing 25-18, 23-25, 21-25, 25-23, 15-13.
Taos 3, Pojoaque Valley 0
It took a bit for the Elkettes (2-14, 0-1 in District 2-4A) to find their offensive groove on the road, but that still wasn’t enough to overcome the Lady Tigers in a 25-10, 29-27, 25-23 loss.

The host Lady Sundevils (5-11, 0-2 in District 2-4A) got swept at home 25-23, 25-18, 25-18 by the Lady Tigers.
McCurdy 3, Peñasco 0
The host Lady Bobcats (11-3, 2-0 in District 5-2A) had little trouble with the visiting Lady Panthers 25-13, 25-16, 25-9.
Mesa Vista 3, Escalante 1
After a second-set blip, the host Lady Trojans (7-6, 1-1 in District 5-2A) took care of business against the Lady Lobos (3-11, 0-2) 25-12, 23-25, 25-16, 25-14.

The host Elkettes (2-15, 0-2 in District 2-4A) came out flat in losing to the Lady Pintos 25-17, 25-20, 25-22.

In the opener of District 1-2A play, the host Lady Hawks (6-8, 0-1) fell to the Lady Wolves 26-24, 25-19, 17-25, 25-20.

José Leon scored off an assist by Samuel Mowry to extend the District 2-4A opener for the host Elks (0-15, 0-1) and goalkeeper Raudel Rivera made 13 saves, but it wasn’t enough to hold off the Tigers.
