(SUNfoto by George Morse) Pojoaque’s Dionna Montoya ran the 800-meter anchor leg of the Elkettes’ 1600-meter medley relay team that took first place at the Capital City track and field meet in the state-qualifying time of 4:34.34. She anchored the 800-meter relay team to a second-place finish and finished third in the long jump and 400-meter run. Pojoaque finished second to Los Alamos in the team standings.
