Letters to the Editor 10/3/24

Find someone else

In a full page editorial subtitled “Be an Informed Voter,” your columnist Tom Wright writes that Donald Trump survived “assaults from the deep state and detractors.” The “deep state” is a paranoid, dark, Q anon conspiracy theory that the government is controlled by a secret cabal of military and financial elites.

If the Sun is a reputable news outlet and has evidence of the “deep state,” please provide it.

Concerning assaults; they occurred on January 6 when Trump’s supporters attacked Capital Police with flagpoles and other weapons. Trump’s family separation policy is an assault; some parents still don’t know what happened to their children and may never see them again.

Our region is blessed with many creative thinkers and writers. If you want to inform voters with facts, relegate Q anon Tom to the letters to the editor section and find someone else.

‘Creative writing’

Tom Wright, you have no business writing your biased summation about Donald Trump or Kamala Harris.

I can’t help but notice you leave out major factors about Trump, that being he wants to be a dictator, wants to get rid of our U.S. Constitution, added trillions to our national debt, and repeatedly denied that he had any top secret documents and says Ukraine is dead, and makes it known he admires dictators and Putin.

Trump is so vile and mentally ill he pulls comments out of his “whatever.” As does his mini-me, VP Vance states what’s wrong with America are those quiet old cat ladies and not the billionaires who have financially supported Vance and their own agenda — not what’s best for America. So your apple cart has been turned over because a woman wants to vote for a woman.

Well, so do 91 big name real republicans who also want to start a new party, because the current republican party is too corrupt along with Trump, i.e. lack of family value and morals. You should be ashamed of yourself for such biased reporting. I will be contacting sources that might find your “creative writing” of interest.
