Little League All-Stars Headed to State

(SUNfoto by George Morse) Starting pitcher Ubaldo Barela of the Española Valley Little League All-Stars held Los Alamos scoreless for the first two innings of the District 5 championship game July 12 in Los Alamos. His teammates built up a 7-0 lead and then held of the Hilltoppers 8-5 to win the District title and advance to the state tournament Friday in Roswell.
