(SUNfoto by George Morse) Dustin Martinez, 16, of Canjilon didn’t stay on the first bull he rode Aug. 2 at “Bull Madness in Old Abiquiú” during the Rio Arriba County Fair. He made the most of his second chance during the second round, staying on his bull the required eight seconds and earning a score of 66 for his ride. He finished second to Belen’s Kevin Castillo in the competition. Martinez received $738 for his ride.
