(SUNfoto by Wheeler Cowperthwaite) Former Rio Arriba County Sheriff’s Lt. Matt Vigil investigates, May 5, a car that crashed into an arroyo in Hernandez. The car was headed south on U.S. Highway 84/285, when driver Nicholas Serna, 27, allegedly passed a semitrailer, then kept going to the right, across the highway and into the arroyo, according to emergency responders. He suffered no major injuries.
