(SUNfoto by Nathan J. Comp) Rio Arriba County Sheriff’s deputy Marcella Archuleta inspects damage to her cruiser stemming from a March 1 collision in front of the Española Car Wash on Riverside Drive. A Sheriff’s Office spokesman said Archuleta wasn’t at fault. A request for the accident report was pending as of March 6. The crash marks the fifth time in roughly two years that a Rio Arriba County Sheriff’s deputy has wrecked a squad car. Former deputy Anthony Armijo resigned from the Office in September after wrecking four cars in two years.
