Matthew P. Romero

    Matthew P. Romero, 23, Pojoaque, died Monday, October 27, 2008.

    Mr. Romero graduated from Pojoaque High School in 2003. He loved hunting, snow boarding, riding motorcycles, fishing, traveling and just hanging out with friends and family.

    He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Sam Artino.

    Mr. Romero is survived by his parents, Matthew and Rose Romero; daughter, Chanel Tiffany Romero; fiancé, Sherrie Herrera; great-grandfather, Deacon Pedro Garcia; grandparents, Esther Artino, David Vigil, Lucille Vigil and Delio Archuleta, Raymond Romero.

    A rosary was recited Nov. 2 at Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe Catholic Church in Pojoaque. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Nov. 3 at Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe Catholic Church in Pojoaque. Burial followed at the Santo Domingo Catholic Cemetery in Cundiyo.
