(SUNfoto by George Morse) Escalante’s Eric Belser (left) and Questa’s Julio Ramirez finished neck-and-neck in the 200-meter run April 9 at the Cimarron Invitational track and field meet. Both runners finished the race in state-qualifying times. Ramirez edged Belser by .09 seconds to win the race with a time of 23.02 seconds.
