“We hear a lot about the haves and the have nots and libraries are a great way to close that gap,” El Rito Library Director Lynett Gillette said to the Rio Arriba County Commission, Jan. 25. She’s holding a mineral used during the Curiosity Cabinet Kids program, which teaches third-through-sixth graders about local rocks, minerals, dinosaurs, animals and insects.
