Northern New Mexico College is holding high school team and youth basketball camps over the summer to grow opportunities for youth in Northern New Mexico communities. They will get a chance to engage and interact with coaches, staff and college players. Santa Fe Indian High School’s boys team was named the team camp champions and Española Valley High School girls were named the 2024 girls team camp champions after a comeback win over Pecos High School. Schools from the surrounding areas had the opportunity to showcase their abilities in front of both program head coaches. “Our plan is to continue to end the month with our awesome Eagle Youth Camp for fun drills, skills, and hoops with the coaching staff and our student-athletes,” coach Samantha Stukes said. “This year it is June 22-23 and you can contact any of our coaches to get registered.”
