Some terminology in the caption for one of your photos in the 11/13/2008 edition is incorrect. A photo of an overturned car read “Drag Race Ends in Rollover.” It goes on to state that the accident occurred while two cars were “drag racing”. A drag race takes place at a drag strip, under controlled conditions between two cars that have been determined to meet minimum safety requirements based on their expected performance capability. Anything taking place on a public street is a street race, and is illegal. Please don’t associate an illegal, dangerous activity with the sport of drag racing.
