Pojoaque’s BabickeGoes out With a Bang

(SUNfoto by George Morse) Pojoaque’s Amanda Babicke won the long jump with a leap of 18 feet, 4.5 inches May 17 (her 18th birthday) at the Class AAA-AAAAA state track and field meet in Albuquerque. It was the longest jump in any class at the meet. Babicke scored seven points for the Pojoaque team, which finished third overall.
