Feb. 5
12:27 a.m. A woman who had been beat flagged down a deputy at Lowdermilk Street and North Riverside Drive.
7:01 a.m. An El Rito caller reported her mother is hitting her and her friend with a horse whip.
11:39 a.m. A man went to the Española Police Department to file a report because his 14-year-old son is being harassed on social media.
12:29 p.m. A caller requested a welfare check on a man in Brazos, who was jumping in front of cars.
1:08 p.m. Magnesium chloride was found behind the bus depot at the Española Public Schools administration building. Help was requested to dispose of it.
1:33 p.m. A caller reported his name was used to file for unemployment.
1:34 p.m. A man in the Income Support Division parking lot was throwing rocks.
3:07 p.m. A First Baptist Church caller said a woman in a car was hitting someone.
3:43 p.m. A Velarde caller reported a woman who has a restraining order on her keeps approaching her.
4:33 p.m. A Calle Valdez caller wanted to file a report for a missing Mexican passport.
6:29 p.m. A Metro PCS caller said a drunk woman was touching his car and saying stuff to him.
6:48 p.m. A caller reported a fight at Valdez Park.
11:02 p.m. A La Mesilla caller said her son is drunk and trying to get physical with his parents.
11:10 p.m. A caller requested a welfare check on a man lying sideways in the doorway of Century Bank.
Racist ‘Popeye’
Feb. 6
12:56 a.m. A vehicle collision was reported near CVS in which a motorcyclist suffered a compound fracture on his leg.
10:43 a.m. An officer stopped a jaywalker near H&R Block.
10:54 a.m. A Las Cumbres Learning Center caller said a terminated employee is trying to take stuff from the classrooms and is yelling and cussing at people.
11:44 a.m. An officer stopped two jaywalkers near Joann’s Restaurant.
12:08 p.m. A Mykal’s Vapor caller said a white van with painted windows had been parked on the side of the building for several hours and homeless people kept going up to it. The responding officer said he could not find a white Jeep and asked the call to be closed out.
2:33 p.m. A Foster’s in Chama caller reported a man called “Popeye” is upstairs drinking, throwing beer cans at customers and yelling racial slurs at them.
2:49 p.m. A man went to EPD to report that his street bike and other property was stolen from his house.
3:11 p.m. A Pecos Valley Productions caller wanted homeless people removed from the front of the building.
4:06 p.m. A Fairview Elementary caller locked her keys in her vehicle with her dogs and needed assistance.
5:02 p.m. A Goodwill caller said a guy stole her bike while she was at the bus stop.
5:39 p.m. An Española Car wash caller reported a man is parked in front of a stall and is slumped over the wheel of his car.
7:13 p.m. A North Riverside Drive caller wanted two people under the stairs to be removed.
7:49 p.m. An Ohkay Express caller said a man is very drunk and is running from the front door to the back of the store.
9:01 p.m. A Denny’s caller reported a woman exited a truck and ran southbound, then a man chased after her.
9:19 p.m. A County Road 101 caller said two men are not letting them get into their driveway.
11:18 p.m. A Prairie Dog caller reported someone hit her car and drove off.
Hateful Ex-Sister-in-Law
Feb. 7
12:21 a.m. A driver was arrested for DWI near the Ohkay Casino.
12:22 p.m. A Calle Redonda caller said someone kicked open the door, broke the window and made a mess in the house.
1:19 a.m. A brown cow was walking around North Coronado Avenue and West Bond Street.
1:37 a.m. An Ohkay Casino caller said two men were being belligerent with security.
1:39 a.m. A Milagro Village Mobile Park caller reported they were getting out of their friend’s car after an argument and the friend hit the gas, knocking the caller to the ground. The responding officer said the injuries were self-inflicted and both parties were drunk.
1:52 a.m. An Apple Valley Apartments caller received a call from someone pretending to be her friend’s daughter.
2:31 a.m. A Mountain View Street caller said her ex has been going over every night and making a mess in the house.
3:21 a.m. A Hindi Lane caller reported her sons jumped each other.
9:51 a.m. A Calle de los Amigos caller said people are staying in a camper on her neighbor’s property and she thinks they are selling drugs and shouldn’t be living there.
10:17 a.m. A caller reported her father is drunk and threatening to burn her truck.
10:41 a.m. An Española Hospital caller went to visit her grandmother and the grandma’s friend threatened to slap the caller while she was holding a baby.
12:27 p.m. A Vigil Lane caller noticed his shed was broken into and thousands of dollars worth of power tools were stolen.
1:05 p.m. A Jackrabbit Trail caller said her stepfather hit her and pushed her to the ground.
1:18 p.m. A caller said he reported a stolen motorcycle yesterday and he saw someone pushing what may be the motorcycle on Calle Lucero.
1:54 p.m. A woman flagged down an officer at La Joya Street and North Riverside Drive and said someone is following her.
2:58 p.m. Officers waited for a man with a warrant, then arrested him outside McDonald’s after he fled.
3:18 p.m. A woman on the side of the road by the Sacred Heart cemetery was yelling for help.
3:18 p.m. A caller requested a welfare check on a man slumped over in the driver’s seat of an SUV at South McCurdy Road and State Road 76.
3:21 p.m. An Agua Sana Fire Department in Hernandez caller reported firefighter gear was stolen from the back of a truck.
7:50 p.m. A Calle Ranchitos caller said a vehicle is doing donuts on the property.
10:18 p.m. A man was arrested at Walmart on an outstanding warrant.
9:42 p.m. An Alcalde caller said her ex-sister-in-law is following her and yells at her, saying she hates her.
10:35 p.m. A Sacred Heart Church caller reported a man and woman are banging on the bathroom windows.
11:03 p.m. A man’s death was reported in Chimayó.
11:20 p.m. A North Riverside Drive caller said a man and woman were yelling and thought it might be a domestic. The responding officer said the couple was yelling because they made their money back at the casino and got a little too excited.
At the Chop Shop
Feb. 8
1 a.m. A Calle Vigil caller reported her boyfriend beat her up.
1:49 a.m. An officer was sent to Point S for a battery in progress.
8:56 a.m. The Pizza Hut manager said four homeless people are sleeping in a tent by the dumpster area.
9:09 a.m. An overdose was reported at the bus stop in Chimayó. Narcan was administered.
9:34 a.m. An officer issued a citation to a jaywalker near McDonald’s.
11:09 a.m. A man was down in Abiquiú. CPR was performed.
12:30 p.m. A man’s death was reported in Velarde.
4:07 p.m. A La Mesilla caller said two men and a woman are at the drug house/chop shop.
5:08 p.m. A caller reported her drunk daughter is driving and may be going to visit her sister.
5:38 p.m. A woman was skip-scanning at Walmart. She got combative when she was detained.
6:05 p.m. A Walgreens caller reported a group of people went into the store and was harassing her. She’s had ongoing problems with them and one was yelling about the caller’s dead father.
6:47 p.m. A Rodeway Inn caller said guests in a room haven’t paid and keep giving them different credit cards.
9:23 p.m. A Jackrabbit Trail caller reported her boyfriend was accused of wrecking into a vehicle, but it wasn’t him. She also wanted to speak with an officer because she said she never consented to a vehicle search.

8:04 a.m. A caller reported a woman came out of a drug house between Las Lomas Apartments and Holy Cross Church and fell.
9:06 a.m. A State Road 76 caller said the neighbors were supposed to be evicted. They don’t have utilities and are using the restroom in the irrigation ditch.
9:29 a.m. A Pecos Valley Productions caller reported homeless people are on the property and won’t leave.
10:02 a.m. A caller said her brother-in-law is on probation in Texas and isn’t supposed to leave the state, but she said he’s at Walmart.
10:40 a.m. An Española Hospital caller reported a woman left the hospital with an IV in her arm and is standing across the street, wearing a hospital gown.
11:02 a.m. An officer stopped a jaywalker near the New Mexico Gas Company.
12:01 p.m. A Habitat for Humanity caller said he just got home and a man was banging on the door.
1:28 p.m. An overdose was reported at Española Pathways Shelter.
3:26 p.m. A stolen vehicle was recovered at the Ohkay Eagle Mart.
3:44 p.m. A caller wanted help in returning a store key to the Champion Express Car wash because the manager threatened to jump him.
3:45 p.m. A Calle Chueco caller said her sister broke windows at the house.
4:32 p.m. A Hernandez caller reported his neighbor was assaulted by a homeless person.
4:48 p.m. A Valley Drive caller said the neighbor started his yard on fire the other day and he wants to file a report.
5:17 p.m. A caller requested a welfare check on a young man near the Ohkay Express Mart, who’s holding a sign that says “To Taos” and is with an older woman in a wheelchair.
5:21 p.m. A Chamita caller said a man on a bicycle was identifying himself as an undercover State Police officer and asking the caller for her name and harassing her.
6:06 p.m. A caller requested a welfare check on a man lying in the road at North McCurdy Road and El Llano Drive.
7:42 p.m. A Hernandez caller said his child’s mother is threatening him.
8:46 p.m. An Old Hospital Road caller reported a man on a bicycle stole from his yard.
10:22 p.m. A Chimayó caller said her boyfriend is being mean to her.
10:32 p.m. A Corlett Road caller reported a man with a warrant is at her house and she wants him removed.
11:48 p.m. A juvenile driver with no license was stopped near AutoZone. His mother was called to pick him up.

12:26 a.m. A caller reported flashing lights on the inside of a house that’s under construction at Rocky Bluff and Piñon Road.
1:14 a.m. A Corlett Road caller said her truck alarm went off and a man came to her door and said he and his wife needed help and were banging on the door.
2:43 a.m. A Santa Claran Casino Hotel caller reported her husband is bleeding from his head.
3:53 a.m. A caller said there’s a bull on the side of the road near Victory Faith Church.
8:39 a.m. A La Joya Street caller reported two men and a woman were asked to leave and they began fighting and throwing rocks at each other.
10:25 a.m. A Harbor Freight caller said a woman is jumping in front of cars.
11:22 a.m. A Chamita caller reported people were living in a house she owns.
11:40 a.m. An officer stopped a jaywalker near Salas Auto Body.
11:56 a.m. A caller said there’s a black handgun in the middle of the road on State Road 399 and State Road 581.
1:47 p.m. An Alcalde caller reported the neighbor is shooting in the air a lot.
2:03 p.m. A vehicle hit a pole in the parking lot at Tsigo Bugeh Village.
2:20 p.m. A woman went to EPD to report her ID was lost and she thinks someone is trying to use it.
2:57 p.m. A Medanales caller said her son had a medical episode and wrecked the truck.
3:54 p.m. A man went to EPD to report someone tore down his chainlink fence and damaged his property.
4:18 p.m. A Family Dollar in Chimayó caller reported a man in a truck has been there for about 20 minutes. They went to check on him and he’s unresponsive and they saw a foil in his hand.
5:58 p.m. A caller said eight homeless men were at Point S and one hit an employee. They were chased away at gunpoint and went toward La Joya Street.
7:55 p.m. An Alcalde caller said her Xanax was stolen and she wants to go to the hospital.
9:35 p.m. A caller reported a truck is near the Snow Bird and the driver has a gun and is possibly with the cartel.
Stroller Full of Packages Isn’t Normal?
Feb. 11
8:44 a.m. A Calle Loma caller said a man was walking with a stroller full of packages and was tossing them over a fence, into a field.
8:55 a.m. A caller requested a welfare check on a 17-year-old because he has a significant mental health history and he said he’s not going to school and hates everyone there.
9:37 a.m. A Calle Cielito Lindo caller said the neighbor is burning brush and it’s close to a structure.
10:05 a.m. A Dollar General in Alcalde caller reported people in a car are smoking drugs.
10:14 a.m. A caller said there was a dog with broken legs on the side of the road in El Llano. Per Santa Fe dispatch, the commander said the dog was in “Española County” and they would not be handling the call.
11:30 a.m. A New Moon Lodge caller reported marijuana was found on the property and they wanted an officer to pick it up.
1:32 p.m. A Coyote caller said she woke up to find five dogs outside, eating her dog’s food.
1:33 p.m. A caller reported there was a large boulder in the northbound lanes in Dixon.
1:46 p.m. An Alcalde caller said they were spraying Flex Seal near the air ducts and the chemical went into the air duct and insulation and started a fire.
2:45 p.m. A woman went to EPD to speak with an officer because she was being harassed online. She said the people are also going to her work and talking about her dead father and are putting his photos on social media.
3:33 p.m. A Chamita caller reported there’s a dog on her property that appears to have a gunshot wound.
3:44 p.m. A Medanales caller found a bicycle hidden in the trees on their property. They don’t know who the bicycle belongs to.
3:50 p.m. A man in a sweater was attacking people on North Riverside Drive.
5:32 p.m. A Lucero Center caller reported finding a purse in the lost and found that had a white, powdery substance on it that got all over him.
5:35 p.m. A Camino del Sol caller said a homeless woman was on the property.
5:43 p.m. A caller reported her grandson is being harassed by two boys at the Española Middle School. They stabbed him with a pencil and threw sand in his eyes. She confronted the boys and was confronted by security.
5:55 p.m. A man went to EPD and reported that he’s been receiving texts messages threatening blackmail.
6:42 p.m. A man who was trespassed at Center Market has been panhandling at the store.
8:17 p.m. A Santa Claran Casino Hotel patron had her money stolen in the casino and was given a fake $100.
9:02 p.m. An O’Reilly’s caller said a man was trying to break into the restaurant next door.
11:13 p.m. A caller near the Española Hospital reported someone passed her on the road and shot at her twice.
11:59 p.m. A man was electrocuted at Allsups and was not responding.
