Oct. 16
1 a.m. An Alcalde caller said there’s a lot of traffic at a nearby house and something needs to be done or he will take care of it.
3:56 a.m. A woman who got arrested was out of hand, slipping her handcuffs and fighting with officers.
7:42 a.m. A Peace Keepers caller reported there are homeless using drugs on the side of the building.
10:01 a.m. A Dixon caller said there were shots fired in her backyard yesterday and they saw the person who was shooting.
11:17 a.m. An Enchanted Mesa Mobile Home Park caller reported her child’s father is outside the house, yelling.
12:35 p.m. A student at Tierra Amarilla Elementary was in the nurse’s office because she spilled a cup of hot noodles on her face and had a burn.
2:24 p.m. A woman’s death was reported on La Joya Street.
3:06 p.m. An Abiquiú caller found a woman in her truck. The woman said someone dropped her off there, but the caller said the gate was closed and no one should be going through it.
3:34 p.m. A North Riverside Drive caller reported a homeless camp behind her house.
3:58 p.m. A caller said a man is in the field at North Railroad Avenue and East Chamisa Street and he’s yelling to himself about pharmaceutical companies and drug wars.
4:03 p.m. A woman walked into RASO to report that her vehicle was vandalized because she has haters. She said she noticed a film on her vehicle paint. The deputy said it appeared to be pollen or dust and the woman said it’s the first time she’s owned a black vehicle and wasn’t familiar with how easily they get dirty. The deputy walked her around the parking lot, showing her other black vehicles with the same issue and he assured her no one vandalized her vehicle.
8:01 p.m. A caller said his dad is threatening to kill his mom and siblings.
10:15 p.m. A woman wanted to speak with an officer about a man hitting her.
Didn’t Get it Her Way
Oct. 17
2:07 a.m. A caller reported a man on a bicycle near Domino’s brandished a gun.
2:28 a.m. An Ohkay Owingeh caller said her family is getting on her nerves and stressing her out.
7:43 a.m. An Española Mobile Homes caller reported a person broke into one of the trailers and is still inside.
8:56 a.m. A caller said her ex has her vehicle and is threatening to start it on fire.
9:28 a.m. A caller reported being scammed over the phone.
10:03 a.m. A caller wanted to file a report for harassment on behalf of his daughter. The girl is underage and is being harassed by a 19-year-old woman.
10:20 a.m. Two were reportedly fighting in Cordova.
10:48 a.m. A caller reported a homeless camp in the empty lot across from Food King.
11:19 a.m. A Cordova caller said the neighbors are physically fighting.
11:32 a.m. A Costilla Lane caller reported people in an RV are selling drugs.
11:48 a.m. A Pizza Emergency caller said a homeless person walked into the restroom an hour ago and hasn’t come out.
12:13 p.m. A man was panhandling and bothering customers at Subway.
12:50 p.m. A West Winesap Drive caller reported a man broke the window on her Jeep.
1:23 p.m. An Alcalde caller said his girlfriend found a man hiding under the mattress.
2:06 p.m. A U-Lock It Self Storage caller reported there have been several break-in attempts and they found people in storage units this morning.
3:50 p.m. A Chimayó caller said she and her husband are being harassed via text message.
4:21 p.m. An overdose was reported in Hernandez.
4:58 p.m. A Crown Lane caller came home to find their house egged and mustard thrown on the walls.
5:42 p.m. A caller said two women in an SUV with Georgia license plates are trying to scam people into buying fake gold.
5:49 p.m. A delivery truck driver reported he delivered a car to a man who didn’t have money and he wants to file a police report.
6:32 p.m. A caller said a man is asking CYFD how much it would be to buy a female child from them.
6:40 p.m. A Burger King caller reported an employee is refusing to give her a refund for her food after they charged her twice for the same meal. She said she was charged more than $100.
9:56 p.m. A Chimayó caller said her husband is chasing her with a hammer and she ran to her grandmother’s house.
11:18 p.m. A passenger and driver switched seats during a traffic stop in Lumberton.
11:32 p.m. A caller reported there’s a flipped SUV on 31 Mile Road and thinks it might be stolen.
Caught in the Act
Oct. 18
6:27 a.m. A Calle Las Tunas caller said his girlfriend locked him out of the house and stole the street sign.
7:20 a.m. A Velarde caller heard several gunshots in the orchard behind their house. They looked outside and saw a man walking toward the road.
9:25 a.m. A Cordova caller reported seeing a hot air balloon go down. The pilot said he and his six passengers would wait for their ride.
10:11 a.m. An El Guique caller said there was a stolen vehicle on some property.
11:14 a.m. A caller requested a welfare check on a man running back and forth and dancing on the road at State Road 76 and North Riverside Drive.
12:17 p.m. A man at 420 Emporia was starting an argument in the store with customers.
1:40 p.m. A drunk man was trying to get into his vehicle at the Ohkay Casino and drive home. The person who reported it called back and said the man previously made threats to go to the Gorge Bridge and harm himself.
1:51 p.m. A man was trying leave a home on Camino de Quintana and harm himself with a box cutter.
2:01 p.m. A Tierra Amarilla caller said her sister is not supposed to be there, she’s been drinking heavily and acting out.
2:40 p.m. A caller reported the city put a tarp over something at the corner of Camino Arbolera and La Joya Street, it’s blocking the view of traffic and it’s a hazard.
3:45 p.m. A Dixon caller said a man on a backhoe was stealing gravel off BLM land and taking it to his house.
3:59 p.m. A caller reported several men on North Riverside Drive look like they’re doing CPR on a man who’s not waking up.
4:31 p.m. A Walmart caller said a man was digging through the dumpster and they wanted him removed.
5 p.m. An Alcalde caller reported finding his girlfriend engaging in acts with another man. The other man went to the garage and the caller locked him inside. He wants him removed from the property.
6:02 p.m. A deputy reported a man on the side of the road, who was trying to make a citizen complaint in Chamita was getting irate with him.
7:19 p.m. A caller requested a welfare check on a man running in the road at State Road 76 and North Riverside Drive, he appeared to be on something.
9:50 p.m. An overdose was reported at the Rio Arriba County Detention Center. Narcan was administered.
9:51 p.m. An Alcalde caller said a man threw a beer at him.
Life in the Horno
Oct. 19
7:39 a.m. A Tierra Amarilla caller reported their truck keys were taken by a man who told them they could not hunt on his property.
9:07 a.m. A Disability Claims Assistance caller said someone is living in the horno on the property. They also have dogs that run around and chase people and the person is leaving trash everywhere.
10:40 a.m. A man was reportedly digging in the electric box near Starbucks.
11:58 a.m. An Arizona caller said they were passing through the area this morning and lost their wallet near Burger King.
4:39 p.m. An Abiquiú Inn caller reported a former employee went there to eat and was refusing to leave. He began yelling and was disturbing the guests.
5:52 p.m. A Dixon caller said her son Facetimed her and he was getting beat up.
6:07 p.m. A vehicle fire was reported at Crosstown Drive and Hawks Drive in Jicarilla.
6:22 p.m. A caller said a man in a car at Lowe’s Home Improvement was yelling and threatening people in lowriders.
6:40 p.m. A caller reported a vehicle passed her on the shoulder near Jemez Mountains Electric Cooperative and hit her vehicle.
7:18 p.m. A Chimayó caller said she came home from church to find her car door handle broken.
8:25 p.m. A Walmart caller reported two trucks and a car were doing donuts in the parking lot and hanging out.

Oct. 20
12:23 a.m. A Calle Sierra Vista caller said two children were fighting and were also fighting with their guardian.
12:43 a.m. A car was stolen from Paseo Don Juan.
3:31 a.m. A caller said someone keeps lighting a fire in the alley near El Rey Liquor.
6:27 a.m. A man was trying to get inside a U-Haul parked near JoJi’s.
7:11 a.m. A Greenfield Road caller said his girlfriend’s cousin showed up at their house, threatened him and tried to fight him.
7:14 a.m. A caller reported a man walked into Speedway and wanted to speak with a manager because he didn’t get his gas yesterday. When told the manager wasn’t there, the man took several items and told the caller that was payback for his gas.
8:37 a.m. A Lyden caller said someone cut her fence and broke her windows.
11:01 a.m. A caller left a threatening message on the Tierra Amarilla Clinic’s voicemail.
11:28 a.m. An Hoy Recovery caller reported a woman had contraband last week and a deputy was supposed to pick it up, but never showed up.
12:34 p.m. A tribal officer was searching for a detainee from the courts that escaped. He was searching the Fish Pond Lane and Po Pay Avenue area.
12:35 p.m. A 14-year-old Mesa Vista High School student had a nicotine pen.
12:36 p.m. A Hennigan Road caller said a man who’s been staying at the Motel 6 for a couple months is walking his dog on their property and allowing it to use the restroom.
12:42 p.m. An Abiquiú caller reported his neighbors are chasing people with guns.
1:10 p.m. A Velarde caller said a man is cutting the fence.
3:11 p.m. An Ohkay Express Mart caller reported homeless people in the area are harassing customers.
4:16 p.m. A Vallecitos caller said a woman who broke into his property a couple weeks ago is back.
4:22 p.m. A Vista del Rio Apartments caller reported a woman is throwing rocks at windows.
5:37 p.m. A Chamita caller said three guys showed up at her house last night and started fighting her cousins, then the whole family jumped in and the guys started shooting and damaged her house.
5:44 p.m. A Chimayó caller reported her child’s father has been sending her threatening text messages.
7:18 p.m. A Coyote caller said he was hunting when a person shot at him and told him he was on private property.
9:57 p.m. A man was being transported to the hospital from Chama after he cut an artery in a hunting accident.

3:04 a.m. A Rodeway Inn caller reported a black bag with clothing was taken from her vehicle.
8:28 a.m. A Santa Clara Drive caller said his vehicle was broken into last night and items were taken.
9:53 a.m. A N.M. Treatment Center caller reported finding the building open at 5 a.m., with rose petals on the sidewalk and graffiti near the front door that had a letter and a heart.
10:34 a.m. A Hennigan Road caller said a man staying at the Motel 6 keeps taking his dog to relieve itself on his property.
11:42 a.m. A Fairview Lane caller reported a woman was trespassing in her yard and hit the caller in the head with a stick. When the woman dropped the stick, the caller picked it up and hit her with it, too.
12:53 p.m. A Pecos Counseling caller wanted to file a report for identity theft.
1:44 p.m. A man was lying down at the bus stop in front of Point S Tire and refusing to leave.
3:45 p.m. A caller requested a welfare check on a man lying down in the car wash on North Paseo de Oñate.
3:50 p.m. An overdose was reported in Coyote.
5:36 p.m. A North Railroad Avenue caller found a small barefoot child, about 4- or 5-years-old, wearing a shirt and boxers, walking around by himself.
8 p.m. A Velarde caller said his neighbor asked him to call the police because someone may have broken into his house.
9:20 p.m. A Velarde caller reported someone is texting him, asking if he’s home alone and telling him to open the back door.
9:30 p.m. A Medanales caller said a woman went to her house and hit her and her husband.
10:55 p.m. A man’s death was reported on Calle Chavez.

Oct. 22
12:12 a.m. A County Road 140 caller said her boyfriend was trying to stab her. She called back to say he cut her with a knife.
2:03 a.m. An overdose was reported on County Road 140.
4:34 a.m. An overdose was reported at Motel 6. The caller said her friend took at least 10 blues today.
11:14 a.m. A woman went to EPD to report her credit card was stolen and there were transactions at Allsups and Speedway.
11:20 a.m. A State Road 369 caller reported a 1966 Chevy truck was taken from their property and their garage was damaged in the process.
3:11 p.m. A Hernandez caller said his dog bit his wife.
11:25 p.m. A McDonald’s caller reported her boyfriend was yelling at employees and at her, then left.
11:37 p.m. A Del Sol Lane in Hernandez caller said a man was walking around with a flashlight, trying the door to the Dollar General.
