‘Messing Around’
Monday, July 5
• 12:31 a.m. — A Santa Cruz Road caller said people were lighting fireworks in the parking lot and they threatened him when he asked them to stop.
• 2:06 a.m. — A Megill Street caller said a man was fighting with two women who were all in a black low-rider car. Police said they were taking two people in for detox.
• 7:19 p.m. — A Highway 84 caller said someone tried to carjack him while he was in Santa Fe National Forest the night before. The person then fired at his car. He declined to file a report.
• 8:33 a.m. — A Henry Valencia Motors employee said staff found bullet holes in a company vehicle and in the paint booth door.
• 12:44 p.m. — Walmart staff complained that a couple who was refusing to leave the store were swearing at employees and disrupting business.
• 2:42 p.m. — A County Road 41 caller complained his ex-girlfriend was harassing him and stealing his identity.
• 4:14 p.m. — A Santa Clara Apartments caller said a family was shooting fireworks at his window. He said someone also knocked on his door, walked in, called him a drug addict, accused him of “messing around” with his girlfriend and left.
• 5:33 p.m. — A woman was shoplifting belts, underwear and shirts from Walmart.
• 7:57 p.m. — A Calle Borrego caller complained a man was coming over to her house and selling her daughter heroin.
Sex by the Swing Set
Tuesday, July 6
• 3:01 a.m. — A Kennedy Loop caller said three men were in her yard trying to get into her garage.
• 7:31 a.m. — A State Road 76 caller said his son was beaten up over rent money the night before.
• 10:13 a.m. — A Coronado Avenue caller said someone stole her identity to buy DirectTV service.
• 10:28 a.m. — A South Yucca Street caller said a neighbor tried to assault him with a garden tool.
• 12:53 p.m. — A man was passed out in the Burger King drive-through and people were crowded around him.
• 3:54 p.m. — A couple in Valdez Park was having sex by the swing set, according to a caller.
• 6:57 p.m. — A Private Drive 1751 caller said his handicapped sister was home alone and a bear broke her screen door.
• 8:24 p.m. — A Private Drive 1618B caller said she caught someone trying to break into her house. When she confronted the man about it, she said he got angry and started breaking things.
Picnic Tables Violated
Wednesday, July 7
• 12:04 a.m. — A County Road 41 caller heard someone walking around his residence. He told dispatchers he did not want to have to shoot someone.
• 3:12 a.m. — A Chimayó Highway caller said a man covered in blood was walking around without a shirt on.
• 9:06 a.m. — An Española Elementary School caller said she was trying to go to work but was being harassed by a “little Mexican” wearing a lime green shirt. She said the man had ugly teeth.
• 12:03 p.m. — A woman at the Mar Iguana Skate Shop stole about $50 from the store’s register.
• 2:07 p.m. — A Jemez View Street caller said his daughter stole $3,000 dollars from the trunk of his car. He said she used a tool to break the lock off.
• 5:36 p.m. — A Calle De Pajarito caller said a woman who lived up the street threatened to hit her kids.
• 6:01 p.m. — A man and a woman were having sex on the picnic tables behind the North Riverside Drive Lotaburger. The caller said “they do this all the time, but today it’s way worse.”

• 12:57 a.m. — A Highway 64 caller said she heard a female screaming and people fighting.
• 4:08 a.m. — A Paseo de Paulina caller complained that someone was playing loud music and making the neighborhood dogs fight.
• 11:22 a.m. — A Walmart caller said two males who looked like gangsters were looking into cars in the parking lot.
• 1:32 p.m. — A State Road 74 caller said she fell and got glass in her eye. She was having problems seeing.
• 6:54 p.m. — A Las Lomas Apartments caller said someone was throwing rocks at his apartment door and window.
• 6:59 p.m. — A Santa Claran Hotel caller complained that a woman wearing jeans and a tank top was trying to solicit sex from him.

• 12:11 a.m. — A County Road 325 caller said his girlfriend came home drunk and would not leave his home.
• 1:48 a.m. — A Fairview Lane caller said his son and his son’s girlfriend were fighting and broke his window.
• 6:36 a.m. — A Private Drive 1120 caller said a bear was trying to climb up a crab apple tree in her front yard.
• 12:09 p.m. — A man in the Walmart fitting room had medical tags on his wrist and hoses “hooked up to him” as though he was just released from the emergency room, a caller said.
• 8:26 p.m. — Someone stole beer from the Hindi Shell Station on North Riverside Drive.
• 11:20 p.m. — A County Road 234 caller said her neighbor threatened to kill her.

Saturday, July 10
• 1:40 a.m. — A North Riverside Drive caller complained that people in several vehicles were dealing cocaine
• 4:44 a.m. — A Days Inn caller said someone was hiding at the Sonic Drive-In and kept ringing the bell.
• 11:38 a.m. — A Private Drive 1511 caller said she was going to get the mail and a man pulled a rifle on her.
• 1:36 p.m. — A Calle del Rio man was drinking something out of a paper bag and throwing fireworks at a house.
• 10:43 p.m. — A Mountain View Street and North McCurdy Road caller said a man and another man on crutches were looking into people’s yards. He told dispatchers the pair had been “spooked” by a skunk.
Dog Stuck Under Truck
Sunday, July 11
• 12:41 a.m. — A Highway 64 caller said there was a party in which people were using cocaine and marijuana.
• 1:50 a.m. — A Private Drive 1617 said she was punched by a man carrying a 6-inch knife.
• 8:38 a.m. — A Sandia Drive caller said a dog was following his truck and got stuck under it. He said he could not get the dog out from underneath the truck.
• 11:33 a.m. — A herd of goats was walking on Highway 84.
• 3:40 p.m. — A North Riverside Drive caller said her son was drinking and he flattened her tires.
• 7:25 p.m.— A Carpenters Court caller said a man threatened to hit her with a hammer.
