(SUNfoto by Whitney Jones) Española Police lead Josh Valdez, 21, of Española, away from Zia Credit Union Jan. 23 after arresting him on a charge of embezzlement, court records state. Valdez, who is accused of embezzling more than $20,000 from a dead man’s account, allegedly told the officers he stole the money because “he wasn’t making (expletive) for pay.”
