Dec. 25
5:13 a.m. An overdose was reported at the Rock Christian Group Home in Hernandez.
7:42 a.m. An Ohkay Casino caller said a man in a black SUV circled them and asked them to get in the vehicle. The man told police it was a case of mistaken identity.
12:30 p.m. A caller requested a welfare check on a man lying in front of the bus shelter near Little Caesar’s because he wasn’t breathing.
2:07 p.m. A Subway caller said a man was hitting a woman and was about to throw a rock at her.
2:18 p.m. A Fairview Sonic caller reported a woman in a car appeared to be falling asleep while eating.
2:39 p.m. A caller said a man and his sister are touching her stuff. She doesn’t know the address of the house, all she knows is that it’s abandoned. She also said the man and his sister grabbed her by the throat.
4:43 p.m. A caller reported a man is dancing on top of the storage units behind Walgreens.
4:49 p.m. A Velarde caller said a man in a car punched a woman in the vehicle.
5:20 p.m. A drunk man at Giant was transported to the hospital.
5:26 p.m. A Medanales caller said her daughter was breaking things in the house and she wanted her removed.
7:57 p.m. An overdose was reported at the Ohkay Travel Center.
10:26 p.m. An Ohkay Owingeh caller said her daughter kicked her out of the vehicle and left her there.
Threatened by ‘Crackheads’
Dec. 26
12:30 a.m. An Española Hospital caller reported a patient yelled at a doctor, then ran out of the hospital.
3:08 a.m. An Avenida Cañada caller said his father-in-law had too much to drink and is being loud.
4:22 a.m. A North Riverside Drive caller reported three crackheads are following him and threatening him with an ax.
9:39 a.m. An overdose was reported near the bridge by the arroyo in Hernandez.
9:42 a.m. A caller said there was a break-in at one of the water tanks at the Agua Sana Fire Department in Hernandez. The locks were cut and copper was taken.
9:47 a.m. A woman’s death was reported on Tsigo Bugeh Road.
9:58 a.m. A caller said he and his girlfriend were staying with her uncle and he caught the uncle raping the woman.
10:31 a.m. A Dixon caller reported a woman against whom he has a restraining order keeps trying to reach out to him on social media.
12:14 p.m. A La Mesilla caller heard a gunshot, looked outside and saw the neighbors arguing.
1:47 p.m. A Calle Sierra Vista caller reported her 11-year-old is kicking her and another child. She is also throwing rocks, told the caller she wished she was dead and punched her multiple times.
3:43 p.m. A caller requested a welfare check on a woman in a car on the side of the road in El Llano, who appeared to be confused.
4:58 p.m. A man was arrested for DWI after a vehicle collision near Socorro’s Restaurant.
5:35 p.m. A house fire was reported in Hernandez. A mobile home was fully engulfed, but there was no one inside.
8:20 p.m. A Calle Duran caller said their son’s bike was stolen a couple days ago and they saw a man riding it up the street.
9 p.m. An El Llano Road caller reported a couple of racers almost hit him, but took out his mailbox.
11:58 p.m. A person went to the Ohkay Owingeh Police Department to report a stolen vehicle.
Tweaking at Sonic
Dec. 27
3:11 a.m. An Allsups caller said three vehicles and a street bike are chasing them.
8:29 a.m. A CVS caller wanted to file a report on her ex-boyfriend because he physically hit her and pulled her hair.
9:49 a.m. A man’s death was reported in Chimayó.
9:50 a.m. A caller said a vehicle followed him, flashing its lights, then the driver confronted him and claimed to be a law enforcement officer.
10:40 a.m. A San Pedro Sonic caller reported a man wearing all red keeps going up to cars and hitting the stall signs, then yelling. The caller said the man appears to be tweaking.
11:46 a.m. A Center Market caller said multiple homeless people are panhandling and one is hitting the walls with a stick.
12:09 p.m. A caller reported a man was running down Fairview Lane after he punched a woman in the face.
2:31 p.m. A Lumberton caller said someone is hacking into her phone and using her vehicle app to turn it off and on.
3:47 p.m. A Truchas caller reported an overdose. They found a woman passed out in the bathroom with needles around her. Narcan was administered and the woman began screaming.
4:10 p.m. A man was pushing an empty wheelchair up and down the street at Barbee Street and North Coronado Avenue.
5:25 p.m. A Santa Cruz Country Store caller reported a man was showing a gun and yelling at and talking to himself.
5:25 p.m. A BOLO was issued after a person shot at a Santa Fe County deputy.
5:37 p.m. A caller said she has schizophrenia and can hear voices but can’t get it under control.
7:31 p.m. A Chama caller reported having an argument with their girlfriend after which she jumped out of the vehicle near the Vista del Rio Lodge.
12-Year-Old on Fentanyl/Cocaine
Dec. 28
8:50 a.m. A Velarde caller said her 13-year-old daughter is being disorderly because she is too tired and doesn’t want to take her anywhere. The teen was heard in the background saying the mother was drunk last night and that’s why she’s too tired to take her.
9:07 a.m. A Chimayó caller reported a man is drunk and playing Russian roulette.
11:35 a.m. A caller said a man in a car is parked near the old bridge in Ohkay Owingeh and is telling people to leave and they don’t belong there.
2 p.m. A Villa del Norte Apartments caller reported people are walking back and forth and they are unsure if they are buying or selling drugs.
2:55 p.m. A Velarde caller said her boyfriend hit her and threatened her withe a machete, then fled in her vehicle. The vehicle was found at Mike’s Mini Mart and the man was arrested for DWI.
3 p.m. An Avenida Cañada caller reported her 12-year-old nephew is being disorderly after his mother took away his gaming system.
4:45 p.m. A Dollar General in Española customer said the employees told the homeless people to leave and one of them punched an employee in the face. An employee called and confirmed it did happen and said a woman and man told them they were going to go back to the store and wait for them to get out of work.
6:07 p.m. An Española Hospital caller reported a 12-year-old child tested positive for fentanyl and cocaine.
6:07 p.m. A man was panhandling outside of Speedway and bothering customers.
8:07 p.m. A man’s death was reported in Hernandez.
8:21 p.m. A caller said people in a truck were driving around Tesuque Drive and South McCurdy Road, shooting fireworks out of the vehicle.
Hit With a Belt Buckle
Dec. 29
2:16 a.m. A woman was charged with battery and a man was charged with domestic violence after an incident on Race Track Road.
2:39 a.m. An officer assisted a Santa Fe County Sheriff’s deputy with a traffic stop at the Santa Claran Casino Hotel after the vehicle was found to have a stolen license plate.
9:01 a.m. Rio Arriba County Sheriff’s deputies engaged in a pursuit starting in Coyote.
10:25 a.m. An Alcalde caller said they were warming up their vehicle when it was stolen.
2:25 p.m. People in a van were seen illegally dumping trash at Ranchitos Park.
4:28 p.m. A Sotero Lane and Mesa Negra Road caller said a 17-year-old boy was hit in the head with a belt buckle and he’s in and out of consciousness.
5:09 p.m. A Fairview Sonic caller said a man with a bowl haircut and lots of tattoos assaulted them and fled. They said they called the Española Police Department administration office, but no one answered.
4:03 p.m. A man on Pumpkin Gathering Place was throwing stuff around and wanted to fight everyone.
6:14 p.m. A Days Inn caller asked that a drunk woman be removed. She was claiming to have a room but didn’t.
8:30 p.m. An inmate at the Rio Arriba County Detention Center spit on and hit a guard.
3-Year-Old on Fentanyl
Dec. 30
1:29 a.m. A vehicle pursuit began near the Bubble Zone and was terminated on State Road 68, when the vehicle began going over 100 mph.
9:37 a.m. A South Monterey Lane caller requested a welfare check on a woman who was yelling for help. She used the bathroom all over herself, had two blankets and was sitting on the caller’s porch.
10:15 a.m. A 2-year-old fainted while he was playing with the dog.
10:36 a.m. A Chimayó caller reported retaining walls were tagged overnight.
11:48 a.m. A Calle Redonda caller said her aunt called and said her son is arguing with her and threatened to pour nail polish remover on her and set her on fire. The aunt called the woman again and said her son hit her with a fly swatter.
12:36 p.m. A fire was reported at the Alcalde Transfer Station.
1:01 p.m. A U.S. Highway 64 caller said a person is lying on the side of the road, on top of a pile of clothes.
1:31 p.m. A Chimayó caller reported her boyfriend is trying to run over her with a car.
2:33 p.m. A Valdez Drive caller said his mailbox and his neighbor’s mailboxes are missing. He also said he found them at the intersection of Valdez Drive and El Llano Road.
3:59 p.m. A man’s death was reported on West Chamisa Street.
7:21 p.m. An Española Hospital caller said a 3-year-old child tested positive for fentanyl.
8:02 p.m. A Hamm Parkway caller reported getting into a fight with her boyfriend. The boyfriend hit her, bruised her eye and choked her before fleeing.
8:11 p.m. A Medanales caller thinks his mother was kidnapped.
No Driving on the Sidewalk
Dec. 31
12:16 a.m. A Chama caller reported her boyfriend went to her house and beat her up.
10:11 a.m. A Calle de Pajarito caller thinks someone tried to break into her car because it appears they tried to pry open the doors.
11:13 a.m. A caller said a homeless man was walking and was picked up by San Juan County deputies. He claimed he was robbed.
11:33 a.m. A caller reported his dump trailer was stolen at the beginning of the month.
12:36 p.m. A mobile home fire was reported in Medanales.
12:52 p.m. A CVS caller said people in two cars appear to be doing a drug deal.
12:52 p.m. A caller went to check on his friend at the Western Winds Motel and found him unconscious and not breathing. The Office of the Medical Investigator was called.
1:05 p.m. A big truck hauling a waste dumpster hit a pole and bent signs and a gate on Lamb Street.
2:50 p.m. A North Riverside Drive caller reported his gun was stolen from his car.
3:40 p.m. A man at the Dollar General in Hernandez was pushed by another man.
4:22 p.m. A caller said a man got her bank account information and took $300.
4:38 p.m. A Tierra Amarilla caller who said he works for State Police requested someone from the sheriff’s office to investigate a break-in at his house. He told the dispatcher to “just send them he doesn’t have time for this shit.”
4:50 p.m. A caller reported at least three batteries were taken from his truck, along with other items.
4:59 p.m. A Hernandez caller heard multiple gunshots behind his house and heard someone say they were hit.
6:46 p.m. A Fairview Lane and North Paseo de Oñate caller said a drunk driver was all over the parking lot and driving on the sidewalk, and then into oncoming traffic.
10:07 p.m. A caller reported a loud party, bon fire and speeding vehicles on County Road 142.
10:36 p.m. A State Police officer detained a man who almost hit him while he was stationary, running traffic.
10:37 p.m. An Ojo Sarco caller heard gunshots in the area and someone yelling “don’t hit women.”
11:17 p.m. An ambulance was called for a drunk man and woman on Stone Lake Road in Jicarilla, who both had cuts on their faces.
11:47 p.m. A man and woman were yelling at each other in the street on Calle Vigil.
