(Courtesy photos) Two vehicles collided at about 2:20 p.m. April 25 while driving on Rio Arriba County Road 42 in La Villita, according to a probable cause statement from the Sheriff’s Office. The drivers of the vehicles, Juan Guerin and Steven Talache, were airlifted to St. Vincent Hospital with serious injuries while a passenger in Talache’s car, Carmen Vigil, was transported to Española Hospital with less-serious injuries. Deputies allegedly found Oxycodone and Xanax pills in Guerin’s car, and deputy Martin Vigil charged the 28-year-old Las Cruces resident with two counts of great bodily injury by vehicle.
