Sovola Slade, 89, died peacefully on October 31, 2008. A memorial service to commemorate her life will take place on Thursday at 11am at the Rodeo Road Baptist Church, corner of Richards Ave. and Rodeo Rd. in Santa Fe. Her remains will be laid to rest at The Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Santa Fe.
