Football Players Named
to All-Star Game
Three players from the Pojoaque Valley High School football team and four from Escalante High School were named to the small school Red-Green All-Star game for seniors. It will be played at noon Dec. 6 at the Bulldogs Bowl in Artesia.
Center Andres Garcia, wide receiver Joaquin Baca and cornerback Elijah Gonzales will represent the Elks.
And wide receiver Braylon Emery, defensive back RJ Atencio, linebacker Jerome Montoya and center Joe Cordova will represent the Lobos.
Santa Dash is Coming
The third annual Ohkay Owingeh Diabetes Wellness Center’s Santa Dash and Children’s Toy Drive is coming up Dec. 13. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. at the Ohkay Owingeh Outdoor Recreational Facility and the 3-mile and 1-mile runs begin at noon.
