State Police Respond to Shots Near Elementary

(SUNfoto by Nathan J. Comp) New Mexico State Police respond to reports of shots fired near the old Sombrillo Elementary School around 9 a.m. Feb. 1. Officers canvassed the area, including the nearby arroyos, but didn’t locate any shooters or victims. After remaining on standby a few moments, the officers returned to their District 7 patrols.
