(SUNfoto by Jennifer Canfield) Dyna Padilla, owner of The Water Store on North Riverside Drive in Española, has been out of business for a week, since city inspectors said the building where she moved her business wasn’t up to code. Padilla thought she could reopen if her landlord, Gilbert Sanchez, installed lighted exit signs, emergency lighting and smoke alarms and patched holes in the drywall, with other violations needing to be remedied within 30 days­—and then she hit another regulatory hurdle.
