(Courtesy photo) Billy Jones claims the pictures he drew were part of a therapeutic process, encouraged to him by his therapist. When confronted with the violent drawings, he claimed they were scenes from a horror movie he wanted to make. These pictures formed the basis of former Española Lt. Christian Lopez’s arrest of Jones on attempted murder charges, later dropped by the District Attorney because it was protected First Amendment speech.
