Española Valley’s Ryan Trujillo suited up for the Large-School Northeast All-Star boys basketball teams during the New Mexico High School Coaches Association’s 2019 All-Star series. Trujillo and the Northeast were led by former Española head coach James Branch and Trujillo scored a game-high 23 points in the championship game loss to the Southwest on June 1 at Manzano High School in Albuquerque.
