(SUNfoto by George Morse) Española Valley’s Jordan Trujillo, the only senior on the Sundevils’ wrestling team, beat Bernalillo’s Jared Tenorio in the semifinals of the 220-pound weight class at the District 2AAAA meet. Trujillo lost a close bout to Los Alamos’ Diego Madrid in the championship bout 8-7 and finished second. The state wrestling tournament will be Friday and Saturday at the Santa Ana Star Center.
