Sundevils Take Fourth in Two Weight Classes

(SUNfoto by George Morse) Española Valley wrestler Florian Castillo defeated Del Norte’s Javier Flores 4-0 in a 160-pound weight class match at the state wrestling championships Feb. 23 at the Santa Ana Star Center. In his next match, Castillo was punched by Los Lunas’ Mikey Martinez. Martinez was disqualified and Castillo won the match, but Castillo was unable to continue and had to forfeit the third-place match and ended up finishing fourth.
