(SUNfoto by George Morse) Pojoaque Valley’s Cheyenne Cordova drives between two St. Michael’s defenders on her way to the basket in the Elkettes’ 44-38 victory over the Lady Horsemen Dec. 14 at the Capital City Invitational in Santa Fe. The Elkettes advanced to the championship game Dec. 15, where they were defeated 61-53 by host Santa Fe High School. Cordova finished as high-point player for the tournament, scoring 61 points in three games.
