It’s interesting to read Michael Miller‘s letter last week with the heading “Governor Violates Constitution.”
It so happened that the evening before, my wife, Ann, and I had turned on CNN, which we hadn’t watched in at least a month, not being big TV fans. Don Lemon was talking about the 135,000 Americans that have died to that date from COVID-19 and made an analogy. The 135,000 COVID deaths would be the equivalent of 50 jets crashing every week killing all aboard for the past four months since the pandemic began.
Mr. Miller, would you board a jet knowing that 50 jets would crash that week? No one really likes Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham‘s requirements that we practice social distancing, wear face masks in public places, and limit indoor dining at restaurants. But the facts tell us our adherence is essential to our survival.
