Things looking up for Pojoaque cross country teams

(SUNfoto by George Morse) Pojoaque Valley High School sophomore Dominic Roybal chases Santa Fe Indian School’s Thomas Lucero at the Northern New Mexico Challenge meet Oct. 11, at the Academy for Technology and the Classics in Santa Fe. Roybal finished 14th overall, with a time of 16:43. He was just a second behind teammate Derrick Grasmick, who finished 13th. Pojoaque took fourth place in the team standings with 101 points. The Elks compete at Rio Rancho Saturday.
