Our beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Tonita S. Medina a resident of Broomfield, CO, Red Cliff, CO and originally from El Yano, New Mexico. She was born April 6, 1913 in a small town of Cordova, New Mexico, her

parents were Miguel and Demicia Sandoval. She married and moved to Red Cliff in 1944. She worked as a housewife and raised eight children. Her children and spouses are Flora and Lupe Martinez, Alicia Smithhisler (deceased), Jose B.O. and

Jane Martinez, Cora and Donald Walker, Cecelia and Harold Martinez, David and Grace Martinez, Irene and Florindo Trujillo, and Eugene and Jennifer Martinez-Bowles. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great grandchildren.  She re-married to Leo Medina and they lived in Red Cliff, CO for 37 years until November of 1994, when they moved to Broomfield, CO. Mr. Medina passed away March 10, 1995. She continued to make her home in Broomfield, CO for the remainder of her life.

Rosary will be Sunday 6pm at Rundus Funeral Home 1998 W. 101h Ave. in Broomfield. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday 10am at Nativity of our Lord Catholic Church 900 W. Midway Blvd. in Broomfield, CO.  Interment will be at Ft. Logan National Cemetery.
