Trash Authority Eyes Reserve to Help Finance New Trucks

This roll-off truck was relatively new when a North Central Solid Waste Authority driver wrecked in June in Chimayó. The Authority has no roll-off truck now and a large majority of the remainder of its fleet sits broken down at the Rio Arriba County fleet yard. The Authority may use part of its reserve to secure a loan from the state to buy desperately needed new trucks.
