Ugly Win But McCurdy Coach Will Take It

(SUNfoto by George Morse) McCurdy Charter School’s Mariana Santos drives toward the basket against the Monte del Sol Lady Dragons in the Bobcats’ 34-32 victory Nov. 22 at McCurdy. It was the Bobcats’ opening game of the season. Santos sank two free throws that proved to be the winning points for the Bobcats. The Dragons led 32-30 with 1:39 left in the game. McCurdy came back to win by creating turnovers.
