Weeklong Bender Leads to Small-Knife Self-Stabbing

Comp) Rio Arriba County Sheriff’s deputies inspect a Dodge Ram driven by Lorenzo Martinez, arrested moments earlier after he was pulled over for driving too slowly, according to E911 dispatch logs. The stop occurred around 10:30 p.m. May 11 on State Road 68, across from the Thunderbird. Martinez was charged with DWI. He wasn’t in jail long. Records show he bonded out of custody three hours later.
