(Courtesy photo) The motorcycle driven by Nathan Quintana following an accident June 28 on U.S. Highway 84/285 near the Dreamcatcher. Española police Det. Solomon Romero said Quintana was riding southbound around noon when another motorist attempted to change lanes, failing to see Quintana. Quintana wasn’t struck by the vehicle, but did lose control of his bike after swerving to avoid being hit, rolling his bike three times before coming to a stop. Quintana, who was in critical but stable condition over the weekend, wasn’t wearing a helmet, Romero said.
