(SUNfoto by George Morse) Pojoaque’s Dionna Montoya soars to a state-qualifying length of 15 feet, 7 inches in the long jump at the Pojoaque Invitational April 22 at Pojoaque. At the Meadow City Invitational April 24 in Las Vegas, she ran a state-qualifying time of 2:31.46 in the 800-meter run. Montoya is the defending Class AAA champion in both events. With only eight girls competing, the Elkettes finished second in the team standings at Meadow City with 75 points.
