Yolanda Martinez, 70, Medanales, died Thursday April 16, 2009.
She was preceded in death by her husband Presciliano Martinez in 2008, parents Richardo and Elena Archuleta, brothers; Reyes, Bonifacio, Gilbert and Ramie Archuleta, sister; Loraine Montoya.
Mrs. Martinez is survived by her children; Patrick Martinez, El Llano; Prescilla Edmonds, Ranchitos; Alice Martinez, Rio Chama; Sammy Martinez, Medanales; Susie Baldonado, Las Vegas; Delbert Martinez, Albuquerque; 16 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; brother, Armando Archuleta, Ranchitos and sister, Lourdes Archuleta, Ranchitos, as well as other nephews, nieces and other relatives.
A rosary was recited April 19 in the chapel of Block-Salazar Mortuary. The Mass of Christian Burial was held April 20 at The San Antonio Catholic Church in Medanales, with Father James Marshal officiating.
Serving the family as pallbearers were Abenico Baldonado, Derrick Serrano, Michael Carney, Emmanuel, Eric and Jonathon Martinez. Honorary pallbearers include Sueanne Edmonds, Shawn Carney, Alicia, Lekrisa, Victoria, Kevin, Daniel, Elena, and Roberto Martinez.
