During the weeklong event, 4-H members from across the state gather for contests, workshops, evening sessions and awards ceremonies.
Participants will compete in a variety of contests, such as livestock judging, crop judging and home economics presentations. Winners will receive their awards during an awards session July 16.
That night, the 4-H state officer team will give their retiring addresses.
A fashion show and a talent show will also be held July 15.
The keynote speaker is Rhett Laubach, who will present a program July 13 about personal leadership insight.
Laubach is a former National Future Farmers of America Organization member and has co-authored several leadership and motivational books.
The University’s 4-H program is dedicated to enabling youth to become productive, well-informed, self-reliant and responsible adults.
