Ricky Torrez, 40, Cordova, died Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2008.
He was preceded in death by his infant sisters, Angela and Diana Torrez; maternal grandparents, Juan and Rosalia DeAguero; paternal grandparents, Remijio and Adelia Torrez.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Amy Chavez-Torrez; daughter, Lorraine Chavez; one granddaughter, his parents, Jose Adelaido and Alice Torrez; brothers, Robert and Orlando; both of Cordova; sisters, Linda Torrez-Padilla, Espanola, and Corine Torrez and many other relatives and friends
Two rosaries were recited Nov. 8 and 9. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Nov. 10 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial followed at the Cordova Catholic Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers, Lawrence and Rowdy Torrez, J D Roybal, Melicio Martinez, Juan Montaño and Martin Martinez.
