Bobby “baby Oso” Gurule, 19, Española, died Sunday, Jan. 4, 2009.
Mr. Gurule is survived by his mother, Sharon Gallegos, Albuquerque; father, Robert Gurule, El Duende; brother, Joseph Baca, Espanola; sisters, Krystal Carter, Espanola and Adria Gurule, Albuquerque; maternal grandmother, Casilda Baca, Albuquerque; paternal grandparents, Bobby and Lillian Gurule, El Duende and numerous other relatives and friends. A devotional service was held Jan. 7 at the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held today (1/8) at 11:00 a.m. also in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of the DeVargas Funeral Home.
Burial will follow at the Loma Vista Cemetery in Alcalde with the following assisting the family as pallbearers, Joseph Baca, Andy Gurule, Gilbert Maestas, Ernie Fernandez and David Cantrell.
