Mr. Presciliano Martinez,
80 of Medanales, died peacefully on Monday December 22, 2008. Mr. Martinez enjoyed ranching and the outdoors. He worked for the N.M. highway department, and for the railroad in Leadville, CO., and other work in California. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents Silviano and Soledad Martinez, brothers Antonio and Manuel, and nephews Tommy Martinez, Jerry Trujillo and Benny Martinez. He is survived by his wife Yolanda Martinez of Medanales, his children: Susie Baldonado and husband Abenicio of Las Vegas, NM., Sammy Martinez of Medanales, Delbert Martinez and wife Anna of Albuquerque, Alice Martinez of Rio Chama, Prescilla Edmonds and husband Bobby of Ranchitos, Patrick Martinez of El llano, Grandchildren: Eric, Abenicio, Victoria, Kevin, Daniel, Roberta, Sueann, Michael, Shawn, Dona, Emmanuel, Alisha, Lekrisa, Jonathan, Elena and Bobby. Great grandchildren include: Nathaniel, Derrick, Dominic, Diego and special great granddaughter Mandi, and special niece Brenda Fonseca as well as other nephews and nieces, siblings: Celedonia Trujillo of Abiquiu, Jenny Baca and husband Paul of Albuquerque, and Silviano Martinez and wife Merlene of Los Angeles, CA. Recitation of the rosary was held on Friday December 26 at 7:00pm in the mortuary chapel, the Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday at 12:00 noon at San Antonio Catholic Church in Medanales, Fr.
