Monday, Dec. 22
• 11:46 a.m. — A man flagged an officer down at the corner of State Road 74 and Rio ArribaCounty Road 57. He told the officer that his sister was on narcotics and he wanted her arrested, but the officer told him there was nothing he could do.
• 12:26 p.m. — A caller said a man from Alcalde tried to buy a $7,000 computer for the blind and deaf using a credit card from Philadelphia, Penn. Police took a report for fraud.
• 3:52 p.m. — An Allsup’s gas station employee said a man had been in the bathroom for over half an hour while his friend stood outside the bathroom. The subject of the caller’s complaint left before police arrived.
• 5:11 p.m. — A Hill Street caller said she had been receiving harassing calls for two or three days from someone saying in a muffled voice that they were going to come to her house and beat her up. Police took a report.

Tuesday, Dec. 23
• 9:31 a.m. — A Santa Clara Apartments caller said a bald man in a black trench coat had been knocking on her door all morning. She asked the man his name and he said, “My name is Dumb and you’re dumb if you open the door.” He was detoxed.
• 11:13 a.m. — An Española Hospital caller said an 11-year-old and a 14-year-old boy were going through the intensive care unit, and had some IV tubing and rubber gloves. They were released to their parents.

Wednesday, Dec. 24
• 5:19 p.m. — A North McCurdy Road caller said two children were running around the neighborhood knocking over luminarias and almost caused a fire in a neighbor’s yard. Officers were advised.
• 6:12 p.m. — A Cook’s Mobile Home Park caller reported an intoxicated pedestrian in the area. Officers noted he was extremely drunk and thought he was driving.
• 7:41 p.m. — A Cañada Ancha caller said her husband was extremely drunk and wouldn’t let her leave. She left for her mother’s house.
• 8:46 p.m. — A man, who parked his car in a Jemez View Street yard, cussed at the homeowner when she asked him to move his vehicle. He left before police arrived.
• 10:02 p.m. — A Fairview Sonic employee said the occupants of a brown Honda were harassing the carhops and were threatening to rob them. The employee didn’t pick up the phone when officers called back.
Don’t Barf and Drive
Thursday, Dec. 25
• 12:49 a.m. — A Camino Mira Montes caller said she needed an officer to escort her drunk nephew off the premises. The boy’s uncle sustained scratches while attempting to stop his nephew from driving. The nephew was removed.
• 2:17 a.m. — A caller said the driver of a gold Chevy truck on State Road 399 was swerving all over the road and stopping to vomit. The call was transferred to another agency.
• 2:56 a.m. — A Calle Redondo caller said he woke up and his girlfriend started hitting him. No one answered the door to their house.
• 11:56 p.m. — An Española Hospital employee reported that a patient came in who had a flag on her name that the police should be contacted if she arrived. The woman was a possible suspect in a theft from a nurse. No report was taken.
Jogger Looks Crazy
Friday, Dec. 26
• 12:58 p.m. — A caller said a man in the middle of El Llano Road appeared to be dancing around like he was intoxicated or crazy. The man told police he was jogging.
• 3:41 p.m. — A West Pine Street caller said her stepson was calling her names and threatening her. The call was transferred to another agency.
• 6:52 p.m. — A Wal-Mart employee said a woman near the pharmacy was yelling at a young child that he was an embarrassment. Police said if there was no physical abuse, there was nothing they could do.
Floodplain Paparazzi
Saturday, Dec. 27
• 9:43 a.m. — A Private Drive 1193 caller said someone vandalized their house, took off the lights, smashed the lights and threw them around. Police took a report.
• 11:20 a.m. — a Blake’s Lotaburger caller said she checked the cash register from the previous night’s intake and it was $440.43 short. Police took a report for embezzlement.
• 11:24 a.m. — A North Orchard Drive caller said a man claiming to be a photographer was taking pictures of houses in the area and asking the caller about his house. The man was taking pictures of houses in a possible flood zone and wanted to know if the caller was in the city or county flood zone. Police couldn’t find the photographer.
• 12:43 p.m. — A Highway 84 caller said her brother-in-law took her license plate off her vehicle, but she didn’t want to press charges against him, just get back the license plate. Police found the man with the plate at a Calle Serrano home. They recovered the plate and issued him a citation.
• 12:54 p.m. — A Pacheco Lane caller said she wanted her 24-year-old son removed because he was coming down from a high on an unknown type of drug and was being verbally abusive. He left before police arrived.
• 1 p.m. — A County Road 86 caller said someone came to her house to do urinalysis. Her son fled on foot, and she wanted him arrested. The Juvenile Probation Office ordered a runaway report and for the young man to be brought to the office Dec. 29.
• 2:23 p.m. — An Archuleta Mobile Home Park called said a woman who was drunk and on methadone was calling her and fighting with her. The call was transferred to a different agency.

Sunday, Dec. 28
• 12:23 a.m. — A Highway 84 caller said his ex-girlfriend was at his residence where she assaulted him and broke his windows. No report was taken because the caller was “very belligerent and could not get his story straight.”
• 10:17 a.m. — A State Road 74 caller said he found a woman’s passport on the San Juan Bridge and his dog was acting crazy, leading him to believe there might be a body under the bridge. Police didn’t find anything out of the ordinary or any reports involving the woman.
• 12:00 p.m. — A County Road 45 caller said her son comes home only to eat and then leaves again. She said he wasn’t leaving, and she wanted him out of the house. The son had left by the time police arrived at the home.
• 11:57 p.m. — A trucker said he hit an elk on Highway 285 near mile post 368 and wasn’t sure of the location or welfare of the elk. Police took an accident report.
