Stella Pineda – Age 88
a resident of Dixon passed away on Friday, January 30, 2009 following a short illness. She was preceded in death by her parents: Juan and Adelida Herrera; sisters: Ufelia and Juana; brother, Manuel; husband, Abel Pineda; son, Louis Pineda. Stella worked for the State in Utah, she worked at the Embudo Hospital and was a member of the Apostolic Praise Temple in Apodaca, NM. She is survived by her son, Daniel Pineda of Dixon; granddaughters: Nancy Valdez of Albuquerque and Sherry Cahoon and husband Aaron of Lehi, Utah; grandsons: David Herrera and companion Dana of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania and Daniel Herrera and wife Theresa of American Fork, UT; and numerous close relatives and friends. A devotional service was Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at the Apostolic Praise Temple in Apodaca. Funeral service was Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Apostolic Praise Temple in Apodaca. Interment was at 1:30 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
