Lorin Ahrens, 90, died at his home in Abiquiú Tuesday, March 3, 2009. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Freida Ahrens and a brother Leroy.
Mr. Ahrens is survived by his wife, Viola and their children Ronald Ahrens, Orvind Ahrens, Dorian Ahrens, Lore Pease, Dianne Hellman, Larry Ahrens, Vernon Sorenson, their spouses and families.
Cremation has taken place and a small, private celebration of life service will be held for the immediate family. Donations can be made to the Valley View United Methodist Church in Española in memory of Lorin Ahrens.
