Rebecca A. Serna,
77, long time resident of Hernandez, NM departed this earth to be with our Lord in Haven on March 1, 2009. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Benjamin Serna, her parents Venceslao and Aleja Suazo, her brothers Enrique, Venceslao Jr. and Abel Suazo. Cremation took place and she was laid to rest at Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish Catholic Cemetery in Española. She is survived by a son Javier Serna, a daughter Paula Valdez, 4 grandsons, 5 great grandchildren, her sister Rose Sandoval, sister-in-laws Bonnie, Cathy, Geraldine Suazo and Alicia Serna. Many other relatives and friends including her very special friends — Tessie Sanchez, Mary Duran and Nancy Wilson.
