United Way of Northern New Mexico is accepting applications for its 2008 grant program, from non-profit organizations that seek to develop new capacities, enhance an existing service or begin a new program.
The grants will generally have a $10,000 limit and may be approved as multi-year grants, not to exceed three years.
Grants will be limited to 501(c) 3 non-profit corporations who service Los Alamos and Rio Arriba counties, and must focus on four areas of concern:
• Nurturing children and youth
• Improving health and healing
• Strengthening families
• Enriching the lives of seniors
