What do you want to be when you grow up: Basketball player beat out teachers, veterinarians and detectives. One student said: “I want to be an NBA basketball player because I am very good at basketball; also because I want to prove all the people that doubt me wrong because of having one arm.”
Things the next U.S. president should fix in our community:
“Stop all the violence and drugs because almost every other night all you can hear is yelling and screaming people. Also because about two months ago a house right next to mine burned down because of drugs.”
“For them to stop making everyone from wearing uniforms in school.”
“Make gas prices go down because my tia, my brother, and I were on the way home and my brother was sick and we ran out of gas and we had no money.”
“Cover up all the vandalism on the buildings because it makes our community look bad.”
