Judy Chaddick will lead a field trip to the Jemez Mountains Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., focusing on volcanism and ecology.
A suggested donation of $25 per person benefits the Wildlife Center in Arroyo Seco. Participants should meet in the parking lot of San Juan Catholic Church, in Ohkay Owingeh. Bring a picnic lunch, water, a hat and sunscreen, tennis shoes or hiking boots.
Binoculars and cameras are optional.
