Pojoaque Boys and Girls Club members and 2009 high-school graduates Veronica Quintana and Miranda Sandoval have been awarded $2,000 scholarships from the Charles Schwab Foundation.
Quintana graduated from Española Valley High School, and Sandoval graduated from Pojoaque High School. They were among 20 teens to receive the scholarship in May.
Both were selected for the award after completing the Money Matters program, which promotes financial literacy among teens.
