The following are important dates related to the city of Española’s upcoming election:
Jan. 5: Filing day
Jan. 12: Filing day for write-in candidates
Jan. 22: Last day to register to vote in city election
Feb. 10: Early voting begins and first day to apply for an absentee ballot
Feb. 26: Early voting ends and last day to turn in absentee ballots
March 2: Election Day
